Complex Ph. Val
Philippe Val, I read when I was young because I was reading Charlie-Hebdo resurrected (since 1992), poet, songwriter marginal leftist open mouth (apparently) became director of France-Inter on Sarkozy. Ty is not beautiful?
While it's not funny to remain an eternal opponent, surveying the theaters in France to debit the same songs approximate. There is an obvious difference in comfort since it was appointed director of France-Inter, with the backing of power. I remember however, that Dr. Val said during an interview, he felt, in entertainment, performing in front of "friends". One might think that he would remain naturally attached to the scene. I also remember the days when Patrick Font started having legal problems, was in 1996. Dr. Val was downright cowardly and abandoned, it must be said, even if I do not endorse what is obviously P. Do. Again, these were two "friends" of twenty-five years, it seems. When an old friend made a big shit, are we completely let go so far? Very
sure of himself, grinning, PhD, argumentative tiring Dr. Val has never been one he would be in reality. He wants the top spot. He said, I also remember that his father was a sort of "extreme right" and he has many "scolded" him. He could not stand his mediocrity or success simply mixed with arrogance, or authoritarianism. In short, his father is a type of "extreme right". Dr. Val and does not "succeed" because of this father. He left high school. He wants to be on the side of the marginalized, the songwriters. In appearance, seemingly only ... All his life hack songwriter and Dr. Valle has risen to discredit (but not only heard) that are too small to get smaller: the hunters rednecks, viewers of TF1, butchers and hairdressers as his father or mother ... The French being poor a redneck, it was better to sing the peasants of Brazil ... small that gets in its way, to him, are despicable.
It is wrong because all his life, he hated his father when he wanted to be like him. By wear, because the varnish leftist cracks, it ends up like him. He eventually succeeded in reaching positions "extreme right" which he attributed to his father. In 1992, Dr. Val takes up successively on France-Inter Charlie-Hebdo and that we are born. This will be his springboard, one or the other, whatever. Is that in 1992 his father died and he can at least pretend to hate? Editor of the weekly in 1992 and managing editor of the publication in 2004, he finally sits down in the chair as France-Inter in 2009. His positions during this period do spend leftism singing neo-conservatism Americanophile (in favor of the intervention in Kosovo, for the Constitutional Treaty), which does not make sense without the hatred he bore to normal father, deep down, hate that decreases with age, as well as dressing up as a leftist Dr. Val and authoritarian clumsy, paranoid, that's not him, either, but like his father. Denial of (father) denial (past leftist), the man remains pathetically wrong.

The film missed N. Sarkozy
The Last Summer is the title of a TV movie of Switzerland Claude Goretta, released in 1997 F3. Not very interesting so far except that Jacques Villeret played Georges Mandel, a pre-war politician, right, who was murdered by the militia in 1944 in the forest of Fontainebleau. Also note the presence charming, always charming indeed, Catherine Frot. And the film is based on a book ... Nicolas Sarkozy.
G. Mandel was the interior minister of the cabinet Reynaud, who has been replaced by Dr. Petain and the French state. He was a notorious "warmonger" in a firm plagued by defeatists (Pétain himself, Weygand, Baudoin, Chautemps ...), which, initially, was preferable to Gaulle, known unknown, by Churchill. In the film, he has seen everything, including Hitler goes after the militarization of the Rhineland (1936), bound to attack France at one time or another.
Already, when you see a photo of G. Mandel, it is far from a resemblance to the actor. G. Mandel, by his contemporaries is described as an energetic but here we have a Villeret clumsy, slow and heavy, which does not inspire greatness and eventually lose interest. The film is totally missing the point of view of the action: lack of resources or lack of characters, the scenes in private or small field to follow. It's like a mental movie. The scene of the enthronement of the new government leader Leon Blum in the House of Deputies, contradicted by Mandel, is of extreme poverty: the camera shoots only a few characters scattered or Blum and Mandel speaking, without rhythm, without heat, nothing. They are ready to sleep or start a game of cards silent. The film could take place at any other time, too. Like what, the TV allows sacred void of a career. It's a shame for the figure of Mandel deserves better, much better than the tribute misleading N. Sarkozy (in What Fouquest-Sarkozy's like him there?) or this movie boring.

There are people who bite me a text and making their meals on them to challenge each other in ironic solidarity that text. Why do not respond directly to the blog? I would be a "pseudo-specialist" (I'm not), my cabbage leaf that does not deserve the trash, and more, I would be horribly rude to someone because I make a mistake on the word lander . As French and non-specialist in Germany, I do not care much to put umlauts or not the German words, believe me. And I defy you to find blogs written both than mine.
Come gentlemen, a little courage, answer me directly, with arguments! Kouragen! Tell me that I suck, it is not one. I am not a specialist in Germany, you are the experts!

Generation Y is (finally) hear more
busy day at City Hall in Montreal on November 22 as the Montreal Youth Council which I am launching a review entitled "From words to action: to inform, involve, integrate ; " on improving communication between the City and Montreal's youth. Quite honestly, the opinion is, I think, wonderfully written. I say this in all sincerity, the Committee which was responsible for labor has led this project very well. Moreover, I am sure he is likely to interest those working in the field of political communications at large, because it exposes the essential communication theory, demonstrating that the Web 2.0 well famous and unavoidable is not an end in itself but a tool that should be familiar with the ins and outs . In short, go read the review! In a touteautre vein, I also learned the same day as the newspaper La Presse had published in its pages a text from my blog. So glad to see that you're more likely to go through here ...
Achieving what starts
Wow. I attended the 27 and 28 November in the first Summit Generations of ideas and I must say that the experience was a real success. Very touching, indeed, to be among his people, his generation, Although smaller than its predecessors, but united and fraternal. I was there and I spent a wonderful weekend, and inspiring of hope and humanity.
In an age where it is difficult to find forums where you can fraternal exchange without falling into silly partisanship, the idea generation, Generation Y, has demonstrated the feasibility of be left or right to sovereignty or federalism and to be able to exchange, debate freely and equally. hat to the organizers! participants Hat! I will remember this summit. To paraphrase the great Gaston Miron, I would say
we are not back to return
we arrived at the beginning ...
we are not back to return
we arrived at the beginning ...
To be continued ...

What Can You Do With A Dummy Phone
Homelessness Montreal always strikes with full force
In an era where we are more connected than ever, where we take our emails at any time of day using our sophisticated gadgets (and aesthetically designed s If you please), at a time when we spend our free time watching TV shows that we have more exquisite dishes than ours in places more dainty than ours, there are people who sleep outside, he Some people do not eat.
I remember the case boisterous of the homeless (SDF) French. The French Republic had once again forgotten the values of freedom, equality and fraternity is supposed to defend it ... is that the homeless had raised a huge outcry because they dared to sleep in tents provided by the organization Doctors of the World rather than sleeping in the street ... I remember very well the reaction of some arrondissements of Paris that had not wanted to see tents on their "sidewalk." It was not good for tourism, it spoiled the landscape to see small tents near the beautiful Seine: it broke the poetry, it distorted the postcard we had of the City of Light to see tents scattered throughout the highway. See thousands of small tents visibly irritated eyes more than seeing thousands of people sleeping rough.

However, there are the new homeless, those who have just arrived in the street who do not yet know the best places and there are the old standby, those who know too well the places, but who know very well that place in a center or a meal in a canteen is never won.
I'm terribly affected by the phenomenon of homelessness in Montreal, because I think she is hurt illustration of our indifference. Homelessness proves that even if we are lucky to have a roof and we are privileged to eat our fill, we are actually very poor, poor heart.
At university, I remember a man who was performing his daily rounds of trash cans. Each start afternoon, it was his turn. He greeted us kindly. One day I asked him to come sit with us and we talked a long time. He then told me that he dragged around the campus of McGill University, because he knew the area well because he had once been a distinguished professor of astronomy here and after all lost once in his life (wife, children, friends, home), he nevertheless still felt at home "at McGill," as he liked to say.
I also remember that when I went down to Peel Metro station to go to university, I had to climb stairs to exit the metro and very often I clambered out upon a man sleeping on the last step, step over, that is say "pass over an obstacle in extending the leg."
No wonder that on Oct. 11 last, an article in La Presse newspaper taught us that " [a] six Quebecers fear of becoming itinerant . I can understand why: it in vain to ignore the human suffering, distress knows we catch up. It is perhaps in this context that on October 13, the Mayor of Montreal and the new Chief of Police for the City of Montreal unveiled an action plan focused on homelessness entitled Take affirmative action to counter the Roaming

White Spot On Lip That Won't Go Away
The city she communicates well with his youth?
You have to express opinions to elected officials? Feel free to share your worldview to public consultation the Montreal Youth Council and the Commission on services for citizens conduct at this time. Having witnessed the very first taking place at the Cégep du Vieux Montreal on September 28 last, I can tell you that young people have things to say and that elected officials present at the consultations said they were very open to any suggestions welcome ... So Do not miss not the other two public consultations in this series to be held on 14 and 20 October. For the youth of Montreal is heard, it must first speak ... speak to you!

adventures
On 12 August, as part of International Youth Day 2010 Ban Ki-moon, Secretary General Kofi Annan, stated:
"Young people are making important contributions to our fight against poverty, the spread of disease and climate change, and also for achieving the Millennium Development Goals. I therefore urge Member States to increase investment they devote to the youth so that young people can do more. "
Inspiring statement as only the United Nations knows the state. I have indeed always been fascinated by the power of words and the conviction that emanated from such statements performative. Thus, continued the Secretary-General Kofi Annan, "This year's celebration of International Youth Day coincides with the launch of the International Youth Year, the theme " Dialogue and mutual understanding "" (Source: UN ). If the cynics see nothing but wishful thinking, I do not share their opinion. We have a duty of optimism. Is not it better to hope for a better world by trying to be patient architect a little more each day? So inspired by this UN declaration, and pleased that the City of Montreal, through its Advisor associated with youth, invites us to an event to celebrate this important day, I accept with enthusiasm the invitation the town hall and I go to City Hall to mark this day with some elected officials and various stakeholders and partners. The event was a great success, the theme of youth is clearly rallying.
The next day I participated in a second celebration. It is organized by the NGO PLAC 21 and its partners (France-Quebec Federation 21, Desjardins (credit Mercier-Rosemont), the TAZ , Views of Africa, The Magnétothèque and Dimagination). Since everything happens at Taz, I take this visit to see firsthand the facilities of the famous wheel skate!
At a booth at the venue, I met a young inspiring that I had to talk to you. His name is Yannick Gervais. President and Founder of an organization called Ticket travelers, he tells me with great passion project he set up. His nonprofit agency has 'mission is to consolidate, sustain and promote emerging filmmakers and speakers travel enthusiasts by offering services and a distribution network for their films and conferences travel ". I learn that in addition to presentations at Cinéma Beaubien, it also presents his lectures in the Houses of Culture Montréal. Frankly refreshing, this young Montreal artist is a wonderful example to follow because it demonstrates that youth are creative and it can and must take its rightful place within the city.
Appointment (very) late
In a different vein, the time that my colleague Michael Wiseman and me waiting for has finally arrived: our appointment was confirmed at the City Council Montreal last Monday to 23h. Wonderful experience it is very interesting to see what happens during a Council meeting. And I must say that all members of the administration (any allegiance confused) and politicians of all parties are very hospitable. Chairman Youth Council, Jonathan Lesage, was also very friendly towards both beginners as we are. In short, young people have a place in municipal politics and it is imperative that we take - nobody will do it for us .

Sinus Infection And Skin Problems
An artist's coming to Montreal Youth Council
social commitment as an artist song for several years, I always felt we had a duty to do more to overcome the values of freedom, equality and fraternity in the Quebec society. I think Michael Ramsay, who wrote eloquently: "The whole world is a great republic in which every nation is a family and each individual child .
If, indeed, I tried to increase my participation in events related to causes that I had at heart, if my convictions have led me to express my views on youth in the Quebec media (in Le Devoir including or taking part in a memorable intergenerational debate Bazzo.TV ), I always had the intimate conviction that political involvement should be central in our lives.
Certainly, not all necessarily need to abandon everything for a political career, but we must make every effort to inform themselves properly in order to participate fully in democracy ... otherwise we become responsible for developing policies that not only does not represent us, but we will hurt.

What happiness, then, in fall 2009, when I came quite by chance on an announcement from the Youth Council of Montreal, which is undergoing "Recruitment Campaign" ! Curious, I visited the website this board that I had never heard of ... and I learn it together fifteen volunteer members from all boroughs. I learn that this Council has "[m] andate advise the mayor and the executive committee on matters of youth" . I also note that current members are inspiring people. I realized then that enthusiastically is a way to influence decisions that affect young Montrealers ... more I understand that the Youth Council of Montreal issued "Notice" that are actually taken into account by the Mayor of Montreal and the executive committee of the city and, therefore, I see this as a golden opportunity to defend a worldview resolutely young and imbued with my own experience of Montrealers 28 years.
I decided to send my application to the selection committee. In winter 2009, following an interview, my application is successful and I am now awaiting a warrant. The good news comes in the summer of 2010. Then I learn that I can sit soon for a period of three years and that my appointment will be ratified at the Council of the City of Montreal next Monday, or Monday, August 23, 2010 !
You understand now why I wanted to dedicate this blog to this experiment. The reflections of this blog will be inspired by the encounters that I will. Thus, during my occasional meetings as a member of the Council, I will try to present a worldview committed, but not partisan, the goal is not to take a position for either party, but to understand the issues, going towards the Other, as written Hannah Arendt, trying to "understand the world as it appears on the other."
This is a political act as I see it.
