Kinship
When TF1 had the brilliant idea to reprogram "Brothers and sisters" in daily rate of two episodes per day by late afternoon, I did not give expensive skin visibly in this series unloved by the channel. One might ask why "Grey's Anatomy" has the right to a great prime-time programming and not a story of family, but that's another topic ...
Time passes and the Walker family is always there to tear and a reconciliation of 4:20 p.m. to 6:20 p.m. every day an admirable consistency. I do not really changed my mind on the subject and finally I agree with this programming on TF1. "Brothers & Sisters" is an honest soap, which does not deserve much better, in my mind that this niche. There, I just make lots of enemies who think that I know nothing about anything and anyway I did not understand the series. That may be true, but I do not, however repugnant to watch after a hard day's work - although I finished early, but when I work, I work ...-, or after a dreary day of idleness . However, in choose except last night when Robert, Senator married to Kitty, the atrocious Calista Flockhart was between life and death, I prefer to zap at 17:45 that finished watching the last episode of the day.
Well, I'm not going to insult you summarize the plot of the series tremendously condensed in its title: "brothers and sisters." From the first episode, the Walker family is amputated his head and then we follow the misadventures of her five offspring, their mothers invasive, and stepbrothers and stepsisters, who occasionally become lovers children. In the Walker family, there is a Republican, a gay, a junkie veteran of Afghanistan, a strong woman, and another boy a little problematic.
series left with a serious handicap in my life couch: Sally Field, I hated in "ER" in the role of mother bipolar unbearable Maura Tierney / Abby Lockhart. Unfortunately she kept her dubbing at the time, but just in "Brothers and sisters" of being a mother and mixed-monopolizing all, incidentally horribly Cocu, who discovers in each season or almost a new "bastard", as the term used by the lovely Kitty, her husband died.
As if that were not enough, "Brothers & Sisters" also has its generic Calista Flockhart, that I will link to his character never unbearable egocentric lawyer of "Ally McBeal" . I have the same problem with the old Billy, who has thankfully disappeared from my TV.
But my list does not stop there, in the series of TF1, I also found the chilling Sloane of "Alias" I am always afraid that he left in pursuit of Rambaldi's possessions for the greatest misfortune of humanity. Here he portrays Uncle Saul, repressed gay, who finally admits his difference ("that which disturbs") in Season 2.
I find this fascinating review of "who's who" with Balthazar Getty, who portrays Tomy in the series, but is a former CIA and therefore must tremble regularly being confronted by Arvin Sloane. I almost forgot
Rob Lowe, which I was a big fan teenager and who had a checkered career because of a popular news item (décidément. ..). Looking through his record wikipedia, I realize also that he participated in the very disastrous adaptation of "Hotel New Hampshire" on the big screen ... I love him because he played in a insipid remake of "Cinderella" for television and I was very vexed to learn that his attraction to minors, he had spent much of his career Yet well launched.
for me, with my own history, people I love, my friends, and others, I tell myself that I greatly respect for the great stories of brothers and sisters who have a little more face soap that U.S. property, certainly well put together - I will not sulk my pleasure, I hate it - but not shattering originality either ( the baby dying, heart attack, breaches, deception, addiction is ... not all that new, though?).
NDLA: I hope that TF1 will not wait three years before (badly) programming Parenthood, I prefer his tone Brothers and sisters.
